PADI’s Rebreather / Advanced Rebreather Diver courses have launched. This article will provide a brief overview of the new programs followed by a list of the new products.  For complete information on PADI’s new recreational CCR programs, please review the 3rd Quarter 2011 Training Bulletin – available on the PADI Pro’s Site under Training Essentials.

 We don’t have separate products for rebreather and advanced rebreather. When you buy the rebreather manual, exams, etc. you also get the advanced rebreather material along with it.

What’s next?
Technical rebreather programs that include Tec 40, 60 and 100 CCRs are coming down the line. A PADI Sidemount Diver Specialty course is also in the works. Release dates for both these programs are to be announced.
